Colony Hills is a residential community located on the border of Springfield and Longmeadow, MA. Adjacent to Forest Park, the suburb was designed by the Olmsted Brothers under the direction of resident and attorney Charles H Parson. The 1921 Preliminary Plan shows the layout of the property, featuring curvilinear roads, wide elevated sidewalks and 72 lots

Colony Hills is a residential community located on the border of Springfield and Longmeadow, MA. Adjacent to Forest Park, the suburb was designed by the Olmsted Brothers under the direction of resident and attorney Charles H Parson. The 1921 Preliminary Plan shows the layout of the property, featuring curvilinear roads, wide elevated sidewalks and 72 lots spread across 7 blocks (Plan 06928-12). The English inspired village included large single family homes styled in Tudor and Colonial Revival architecture. A series of deed restrictions were established to preserve the neighborhood’s upscale charm, aesthetic, and vision.
